Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, not because of the food(ok,maybe a little bit). Its the family and friends being together and sharing what they have been doing the past year. Sharing new little bundles of joy that were born this past year. I had a bounty of success with my garden this past year and look forward to sharing them. I had a thought this morning about those who don’t have family and friends to sit around the table with or who can’t afford food. My family and friends will be sitting around the table early this year, I have chosen to use Thanksgiving as a time to help others in this great little community. It would be a great lesson for my little one to learn to help as well and maybe inspire her to go to the nursing home to read or even volunteer. I do hope all of you a great Thanksgiving.
