This was my first time making Split Pea Soup, while Mark has made it numerous times. I wanted something perfect for him and I soon realized that I out did myself this time as it turned out perfect. I didn’t realize how easy of a soup this was. So if you have not made split pea soup and would like to, This is simple.

2 tsp Coriander
DIRECTIONS:
– Place Ham bone into slow cooker with 6 c of water, add bouillon cubes to water.
– Place slow cooker on high.
– Cut onion, garlic, celery and carrot and add to slow-cooker.
– Add the dried peas, and cook for 1 1/2 hrs.
– Set to low for 3 hrs.
* Serve hot in serving bowls.
* Goes well with Grilled cheese sandwiches.
