Chicken Pasta In A Creamy Chive Blossom Sauce

Mark took over cooking a few nights this week, what a amazing man he is as this has got to be one of my favorite dishes now as its light and refreshing. I tried watching, but because of him being a chef for many, many years, his expertise is explicit and he is way faster in the kitchen than I am, I just watched him in awe this night.

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb                            Chicken breast (boneless, cooked, cut into strips)

1 box                          spaghetti noodles (boiled and set aside)

1 can                          Tomato Sauce

1 tsp                          Olive oil

1/2 c                          Sour Cream

1 tsp                          Garlic (minced)

1 c                             Muenster Cheese (shredded)

3                                Green onion

2 sprigs                     Thyme

2 sprigs                     Oregano

4 sprigs                     Chive

1/2 tsp                       Salt

1/8 tsp                       Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Sautee the chicken in olive oil and add the garlic.

While cooking the chicken, start the sauce.

Heat the tomato with the green onions and herbs, reducing slightly.

Whisk in the sour cream and add salt and pepper.

Add the chicken to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

Plate the noodles, and sprinkle with the cheese.

Top the cheese and noodles with the sauce and chicken, adding more cheese at the end.

Sprinkle chopped Chive blossoms on top and dig in!
