Still finding uses for all these wonderful strawberries that my daughter and her grandmother picked this past week. I like them cold and plain. But what else can I make with so many Strawberries? Mark suggested we make Strawberry jam, Yum. So today I will be searching for recipe’s that doesn’t need lemon, If anyone has one, can you please share your recipe.
The lemon is only there to add pectin. You can leave it out and add more pectin or add one large apple peeled, cored and shredded per pound of strawberries – that substitutes perfectly and tastes delicious!
